Rachel: Dear Kasey, Thank you for keeping me company while I cut and mounted hundreds of photos. It was nice. Except for the hours you paced around my kitchen and all the times I had to keep you away from rat poison and when you spazzed on the floor from the thunderstorm. Besides that it was nice having you around.
SameTime is a spontaneous photography project taking direct inspiration from SameTime 7:15 (Michael Lease, Kate Macdonnell, Bryan Martin, Jesse Sommerlatt, Brad Walker, and Soung Wiser; http://www.sametime715.com) This is a year-long commitment from January 1 to January 1. Participants must be dedicated to taking one photo everyday in this time period at the exact time specified. This picture should not be a planned piece of art, but rather serve as a spontaneous, artistic documentation of the place you were in, the people you were with, or an inspirational object near you at this time daily. Participants upload a square format of their daily photo and accompany it with a caption.
